Notice of Infringement Requirements:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized representative.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
  3. Identification of the infringing material to be removed, with sufficient information for us to locate it (including the URL).
  4. Contact information of the complaining party, including name, address, email, and phone number.
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the material is not authorized by the copyright owner.
  6. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Legal Note:
Title 17 USC §512(f) provides civil penalties, including costs and attorney fees, for knowingly misrepresenting information in a DMCA notice.

Counter Notification – Request to Restore Material

If your content has been removed due to a DMCA claim, you may submit a counter notification to have the material restored. Your counter notice must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. A description of the material removed and its original location.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was due to mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, phone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your location (or any U.S. district court if outside the U.S.), and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant.

Repeat Infringer Policy

We take copyright infringement seriously. In compliance with the DMCA, we maintain a record of all DMCA notices and take action against repeat infringers, including termination of accounts when necessary.
